The Cybermentor program (Cybermentor) is committed to protecting the privacy of its volunteers, sponsors, donors, partners, and program participants.
Collection of Your Personal Information
In order to manage your participation in Cybermentor, we need to collect some personal information from you. This information may include name, contact information, references, program interests, special requests, evaluations and feedback.
How We Use Your Information
Cybermentor collects your personal information:
- To register you in the program
- To create mentor and mentee databases matching areas of expertise and interests.
- To be able to communicate with you.
- To inform you about Cybermentor activities and events that may be of interest to you.
- To evaluate and improve the program.
- To comply with legal and insurance requirements.
- To react to an emergency situation.
Information may also be anonymized or aggregated and used for planning, promotions and reporting purposes.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We do not rent, sell, or trade our mailing lists or any other personal data collected for the purposes of Cybermentor.
Your Choices
You may choose to withdraw from the program at any time by contacting the Cybermentor office. No further contact will be initiated by the Cybermentor office if you withdraw from the program.
Accessing Your Personal Information
At any time you may ask to view and/or edit your personal information by contacting the Cybermentor office. We will verify your identify before discussing and/or changing any personal information.
Security of Your Personal Information
Cybermentor is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with access controls, which are located in controlled facilities or in locked file cabinets stored in a secure office.
