So, you want to be a mentor?

Do you identify as a woman, non-binary, or Indigenous science, technology, engineering, arts, and/or math (STEAM) professional and/or scholar? Are you interested in mentoring a young person, sharing your expertise, and providing insight into your experiences as a woman, non-binary, and/or Indigenous STEAM professional?

Our mentors connect with their matches once a week and build a relationship with a budding STEAM enthusiast. Cybermentor provides training and guidance for mentors to support you along your journey of supporting a young woman, non-binary, and/or Indigenous youth. You will also have the opportunity to opt-in to being a Cybermentor + program mentor.

Mentors are required to provide a vulnerable sector police check, two references (at least one professional), and participate in a virtual interview meeting. Mentors of all STEAM backgrounds are welcome- including graduate students.
